New York City: Hundreds of activists gathered at Riverside Church to honor Ramsey Clark on his 85th birthday and to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the International Action Center. Clark, a former U.S. Attorney General, co-founded the IAC in 1992 following the first Gulf War. As a radical lawyer he has represented Leonard Peltier and other political prisoners. People spoke about his life-long fight against U.S. imperialism, racism and repression and his integrity, warmth and deep caring for people.
